Job summary

Phenomenex, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Account Manager to cover the Netherlands and Flanders. You will maintain and grow key accounts by delivering advanced technical support, product information and strategic sales plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Biology, strong Dutch and English communication, and willingness to travel up to 60% as part of the Benelux team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or other related Science required.
• Ability to analyze, facilitate dialogue across a group or team, communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a new or different point of view.
• Ability to strategically plan, organize, and allocate resources to meet the needs of the business.
• Advanced knowledge of sales principles and methods of negotiation, and demonstrated advanced capability to identify business opportunities.
• Good knowledge of Chromatography
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer visits to provide technical information, product demonstration and/or technical seminar.
• Build account relationships beyond the buying level to ensure involvement of key decision makers with new and existing customers.
• Ensure that assigned territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goals.
• Work together with the Sales Manager to develop business plans, and sales strategies for key accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functionals teams and act as a resource for colleagues which may include coaching, mentoring, and training
