Job summary

Röhlig Netherlands is seeking a Key Account Executive to strengthen customer relationships and align commercial commitments with operational delivery in Rotterdam. You will coordinate implementations, enhance workflows, and collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure top service levels.

The role requires at least two years in freight forwarding operations, strong communication, and English proficiency; Dutch is required for this Netherlands-based position.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to understand complex customer requirements and improve processes.
• Fluent English; Dutch proficiency required for this Netherlands-based role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer implementation, maintain operating procedures and monitor service KPIs.
• Act as a link between customers, Sales and Operations, including reviews and onboarding support.
• Coordinate bookings, monitor confirmations and resolve service issues during implementation and ongoing operations.
• Improve end-to-end workflows, customer data, rates and system configurations (Realtime 3.0, CargoWise, auto-rating).
• Contribute to forecasting, allocation management and opportunities for technology and AI use.
