Job summary

Röhlig Netherlands B.V. is seeking an experienced freight forwarding operations professional to coordinate customer implementations and optimize service delivery.

You will serve as a bridge between customers, Sales and Operations, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing performance. The role requires at least two years in freight forwarding, strong communication, and English proficiency with Dutch language skills required for this Netherlands-based position.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
• Strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach to retention.
• Ability to understand complex customer requirements and improve operational processes.
• Collaborative working style with fluent written and spoken English; Dutch proficiency is required for this Netherlands-based role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer implementation, maintain customer operating procedures and monitor service requirements and KPIs.
• Act as a link between customers, Sales and Operations, including customer reviews, quarterly business reviews and onboarding support.
• Coordinate bookings, monitor confirmations and proactively resolve service issues during implementation and ongoing operations.
• Improve end-to-end workflows, customer data, rates and system configurations, including Realtime 3.0, CargoWise and auto-rating.
• Contribute to forecasting, allocation management and opportunities for efficient use of technology and AI.
