Job summary

Accell Group is hiring an HR Operations Specialist in Amsterdam as part of the People team to ensure accurate, compliant HR service delivery across the organization. The role emphasizes onboarding, payroll coordination, and data integrity in an international, multi-location environment.

You will work with Workday, support payroll inputs, and implement HR programs regionally. The position requires Dutch and English fluency and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Equivalent experience also considered.
• Solid experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, or similar HR support roles.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, and payroll coordination.
• Experience handling employee relations or operational HR cases.
• Good understanding of Dutch labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience using HRIS systems such as Workday.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data issues and improve processes.
• Excellent planning skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Fluent Dutch, with the ability to draft and adjust contracts, letters, and HR documentation accurately and compliantly.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and employee documentation.
• Ensure HR administration is accurate, timely, and compliant with local labor legislation.
• Serve as a key user for HR systems such as Workday, maintaining employee data and supporting reporting needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate HR processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for payroll providers and coordinate monthly payroll inputs including changes, leave, and absences.
• Work closely with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Support the implementation of local and regional HR programs and initiatives.
• Communicate policies, procedures, and process updates clearly to managers and employees.
• Share knowledge within the HR team and support colleagues when needed.
• Help resolve operational HR issues by investigating root causes and ensuring proper follow-up.
