Job summary

Our client is a global trading company specializing in commodities and energy certificates, with offices in Amsterdam, New York, Shanghai, Singapore and Paris, supporting customers in more than 40 countries on their energy transition goals.

As an HR Officer in the HR Operations team, you will manage onboarding and offboarding, payroll changes, benefits administration, and international relocations, while ensuring accurate data in Workday and providing timely HR guidance.

Qualifications

• Has 3–5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations or a similar role.
• Has a bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Law or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Has solid knowledge of Dutch HR processes, Dutch labor laws, employment regulations and payroll administration.
• Has experience working in an international environment.
• Is familiar with HR/HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
• Works independently and has a structured, accurate and service-oriented approach.
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and/or English.
• Is available for approximately 6–8 months.

Responsibilities

• Managing onboarding, offboarding and employee administration.
• Supporting employees and managers with HR-related questions and contractual matters.
• Coordinating payroll changes and ensuring accurate HR administration.
• Managing benefits, pension and insurance administration.
• Supporting international relocations, including visas and work permits.
• Maintaining accurate employee data in HR systems such as Workday.
• Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and procedures.
• Collaborating with HR Business Partners, Payroll and other stakeholders.
