Job summary

Accell Group is seeking an HR Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations for the Netherlands and Belgium, reporting to the CHRO and guiding a small HR team. This role focuses on bringing structure, improving processes, and ensuring reliable HR operations and data across locations including Amsterdam and Heerenveen.

You will work within an international HR setup, collaborating with Works Council and senior stakeholders, driving data governance and payroll-related basics, and ensuring compliant HR

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HR experience with hands-on operations
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Experience operating in a wider international HR organization (matrix)
• Proven process-improvement focus in HR operations
• Experience working with HR systems
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes
• Experience working closely with a Works Council
• Strong understanding of Dutch employment law and its practical application
• Experience in complex or legacy environments improving unclear or undocumented processes

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day HR management and operations for the Netherlands and Belgium
• Report directly into the CHRO
• Lead and support a HR team of 3 people
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with the Works Council
• Drive process improvements and streamline HR workflows
• Improve and maintain HR master data quality and governance
• Ensure HR delivers accurate and reliable data to support business decisions
• Improve existing processes and ensure compliance across HR practices
• Support core employee processes
• Respond to employee HR queries and manage operational follow-up
• Work across multiple locations including Amsterdam and Heerenveen
• Identify operational issues quickly and resolve them with urgency
• Translate business priorities into clear HR execution and team focus
