Job summary

Hef Associates seeks a Workday Functional Application Manager to support, develop, and maintain global HR processes across more than 20 countries. You will bridge global HR teams with IT, translating user needs into functional specs and managing access, adoption, and second-line support.

The role requires extensive Workday or HRIS experience, knowledge of lifecycle management, integrations (e.g. payroll), and strong communication. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Workday or comparable HRIS experience.
• Experience with cloud-based/SaaS HR solutions.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, including payroll
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel up to ~15%

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the Workday application across global HR processes
• Configure roles, access and security; manage updates and upgrades
• Drive user adoption through training and collaboration with HR stakeholders
• Provide second-line support and issue resolution across countries
• Support global rollout initiatives and integrations with payroll and other HRIS systems
