Job summary

Robin Radar Systems seeks a Business Development Manager to grow key accounts in Military Aviation and lead bird-strike radar projects at air bases and airfields worldwide (excluding North America).

You will partner with Sales, Tech Sales, Service and Marketing to translate complex requirements into proposals and close strategic contracts, with global travel up to 40% for industry events and meetings.

Qualifications

• BA or MSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• 8-10 years in business development/account management in international settings.
• Deep understanding of the military aviation sector and procurement processes.
• Prior radar technology or aviation infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Dutch a plus.
• Analytical, proactive mindset with strong negotiation skills.
• Clear communicator across cultures and technical backgrounds.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Willing to travel globally up to 40% for meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand key customer portfolio in Military Aviation; implement radar solutions at air bases and airfields.
• Lead sales generation, contract negotiations, and closing renewals to exceed targets.
• Grow pipeline through virtual and in-person meetings and industry events; represent Robin Radar Systems at international trade shows.
• Provide commercial forecasting and performance tracking; deliver accurate reporting for long-term growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Bid Ops, Tech Sales, and Quality to meet customer needs.
