Job summary

Robin Radar Systems in the Netherlands is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage and expand our portfolio of key customers in Military Aviation worldwide (excl. North America) for bird-strike prevention and wildlife management radar technology at air bases and airfields.

You will work with Sales, Tech Sales, Service and Support, and Marketing to translate complex requirements into proposals and close strategic contracts. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• BA or MSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• 8–10 years in business development in international environment.
• Deep understanding of military aviation and government procurement.
• Experience with radar technology or aviation infrastructure preferred.
• Fluent in English for business; Dutch a plus.
• Analytical, proactive with strong negotiation skills.
• Clear communicator across cultures.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Willing to travel up to 40% for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Business Development, Account management and relationship building: main point of contact for global customers.
• Sales generation and contract negotiation: target new prospects, advise clients, negotiate terms, close contracts.
• Pipeline growth and global outreach: drive opportunities, lead demonstrations, represent at trade shows.
• Commercial forecasting and performance tracking: monitor metrics, deliver reports.
• Cross-functional collaboration: consult with Project Management, Bid Ops, Tech Sales, Quality.
