Job summary

Unifyrecruitment seeks a German-speaking emergency helpline employee for a full-time role in the Amsterdam area. You will provide initial care by phone, assess care needs, and coordinate with medical specialists and authorities.

The role requires calm under pressure, strong communication, and the ability to work in rotating shifts around the clock. You should have an MBO-4 education or higher, experience in emergency or healthcare settings, and English B2 and German C2 language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and written skills in English (B2) and German (C2).
• First aid training is an advantage.
• Flexible availability; 24/7 helpline with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming reports and requests, assess necessity and urgency and set priorities.
• Alert units and ensure immediate assistance is provided.
• Register and log incident progress.
• Monitor procedures, systems and equipment; suggest improvements.
• Maintain composure under stress and provide clear, empathetic guidance.
• Work in shifts; schedule known weeks in advance.
