Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam is offering a Front Office Internship in Amsterdam, opposite Amsterdam Central Station. You will gain hands-on experience across Front Office operations while developing your hospitality skills in a dynamic international environment.

You will learn procedures, guest handling, and collaboration with departments to ensure smooth daily operations, with an opportunity to grow within a renowned hotel group.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests to deliver consistent service.
• Support guest journey including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests via multiple channels.
• Assist with reservations, payments, and Front Office administrative tasks.
• Deliver excellent guest service and respond professionally to enquiries.
• Maintain a welcoming Front Office environment aligned with brand standards.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance for smooth operations.
• Learn and apply hotel procedures, standards, and systems to support operational excellence.

As a Front Office Intern, you will be the face of the hotel and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences. You will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of Front Office operations while developing your professional and hospitality skills in a dynamic international environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, contributing to a positive team environment and consistent service delivery
• Support the guest journey, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest requests across phone, written, and face-to-face communication
• Assist with reservations, payments, and Front Office administrative tasks
• Deliver excellent guest service and respond professionally to guest enquiries
• Maintain a professional and welcoming Front Office environment in line with brand standards
• Collaborate with departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations
• Learn and apply hotel procedures, standards, and systems to support operational excellence

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality or related study program
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
• Guest-focused mindset with a positive and professional approach
• Enjoys working in a team and adapting to a fast-paced environment
• Available for an internship of at least 5-6 months
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage
• Interest in Front Office and guest relations
• Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS) is a plus
• Dutch or any additional language skills are an advantage
• Eagerness to develop operational knowledge within a hotel environment

The internship allowance is €550 gross per month (full-time), which is above the Horeca CAO BOL guidelines.
