Job summary

Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport offers a Front Office internship to gain hands-on guest service experience at a vibrant international hotel near Schiphol.

You will support check-ins/check-outs, reservations, payments and front desk administration while learning brand standards and how to deliver memorable guest experiences.

The internship starts in September 2026 for 5–6 months, with an onboarding programme and opportunities to develop in a hospitality career.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in hospitality or related study programme
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
• Guest-focused mindset with a positive and professional approach
• Enjoys working in a team and adapting to a fast-paced environment
• Available for an internship of 5–6 months
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, contributing to a positive team environment and consistent service delivery
• Support the guest journey, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest requests across phone, written, and face-to-face communication
• Assist with reservations, payments, and Front Office administrative tasks
• Deliver excellent guest service and respond professionally to guest enquiries
• Maintain a professional and welcoming Front Office environment in line with brand standards
• Collaborate with departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations
• Learn and apply hotel procedures, standards, and systems to support operational excellence

As a Front Office Intern, you will be the face of the hotel and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences. You will gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of Front Office operations while developing your professional and hospitality skills in a dynamic international environment.

The internship starts in September 2026 for a period of 5 or 6 months.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage
• Interest in Front Office and guest relations
• Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS) is a plus
• Dutch or any additional language skills are an advantage
• Eagerness to develop operational knowledge within a hotel environment

The internship allowance is €550 gross per month (full-time), which is above the Horeca CAO BOL guidelines.
