Job summary

Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam invites a Food and Beverage Management Intern to gain hands-on leadership experience. You’ll work with the F&B leadership team to support daily operations across all outlets and contribute to memorable guest experiences.

You will be exposed to managing floor service, event coordination, upselling, and training activities while developing managerial skills in a vibrant hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Passion for food, drinks, and guest service.
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Availability for an internship of at least 5 months.
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food and Beverage Manager in daily operations across all outlets.
• Lead by example on the floor, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in coordinating restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event operations.
• Drive commercial performance by supporting upselling, promotions, and events.
• Monitor service quality and ensure brand standards are consistently maintained.
• Support team communication, shift organisation, and operational planning.
• Assist with training and coaching team members.
• Engage with guests, ensuring personalised and memorable experiences.
• Take ownership of assigned projects to improve performance and guest satisfaction.
