Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver hands-on IT support across client locations in the Netherlands. You will work with the Service Desk, vendors, and client teams to keep end-user environments running smoothly.

Role involves onsite problem resolution, hardware installations, MACDs, and AV/VC support, with a focus on customer service and adherence to client policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Field Service Engineer or deskside IT support roles.
• Experience with end-user devices, hardware, OS (Windows) and common apps.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with BIOS, OS deployment, VPN and encryption tools.
• Experience with ITIL-based service management and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software incidents.
• Execute MACDs, hardware installations, server/storage reboots and post-deployment validation.
• Provide deskside end-user support for devices, drivers, OS and Office/Adobe apps.
• Support AV/VC environments and video conferencing endpoints and rooms.
• Coordinate with vendors and client teams for onsite projects.
