Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Onsite IT Support Engineer to serve as the primary IT representative at the site. You will deliver end-to-end support across IT and OT environments, covering desktops, laptops, printers, network infrastructure, and manufacturing systems.

Role requires strong OS, SCCM/Intune/AD expertise, and hands-on experience with OT technologies like PLCs. Travel to other sites may be needed; on-call rotations are possible. Netherlands work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7yrs hands on dedicated experience as deskside/Onsite support/local IT engineer.
• Strong Microsoft Operating System installation (Win10 / MAC OS X) and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong Experience in Providing Hands & feet Support for Network and Datacentre Equipment/Devices.
• Strong desktop support knowledge including hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Knowledge of OT technology such as PLCs, manufacturing IT, etc.
• Experience with managed print services and network printers.
• Good understanding of ITIL ticketing tools and processes (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).

Responsibilities

• Setup and troubleshooting printer/faxes/copiers/RF guns or phone equipment in offices.
• Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and diagnosing hardware/software issues.
• OT environment support for PLCs and manufacturing plant IT systems.
• Act as the primary IT owner at site and drive resolution with the broader HCLTech team.
• Shopfloor hardware/software support across desktops, laptops, tablets, printers and peripherals.
• Maintain data closets and perform daily health checks on IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate with IT and OT vendors to keep the site up and running.
• Lead site P1 incidents and drive end-to-end accountability to minimize downtime.
• Create documentation and KB articles for day-to-day processes.
