Job summary

LA International is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Netherlands (Utrecht area preferred) for a 6-month contract with possible extensions. The role requires 3-5 years of field service experience, with hands-on work across storage and networking platforms.

Travel nationwide is required and travel expenses are covered. Proficiency in Dutch and English, plus experience with ServiceNow, are essential. Training and independent as well as team-based work are expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Experience with enterprise storage and infrastructure brands (Pure Storage, Quantum, Dell Storage, HDI, HP).
• Ability to install network devices (Cisco, Meraki) at customer sites/data centers.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience updating tickets in ServiceNow or similar systems.
• Willingness to learn new technologies; attend product trainings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job description

Our client in the Netherlands is looking for a Field Service Engineer. This is a 6 months contract initially with possibility of extensions.

Travel across the Netherlands will be required and travel related expanses will be covered. A valid driver's license is mandatory.

Location:

Candidates based in the central Netherlands (Utrecht region) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer delivering dispatched break-fix and installation services.
• Experience supporting enterprise storage and infrastructure technologies, including brands such as Pure Storage, Quantum, Dell Storage, HDI, HP, and similar platforms.
• Ability to perform basic installations of network devices, including Cisco, Meraki, and related technologies at customer sites and data centers.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Good administrative and documentation skills, with experience updating tickets in ServiceNow or other customer ticket management systems.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and attend product training when required.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
