Job summary

Arvato is launching a new Customer Support and Transport operation in Lelystad. As Customer Support Manager you will lead and develop the Customer Support and Transport teams, coaching supervisors and building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvements.

You'll work with Warehouse Operations, Planning and the international customer to ensure excellent service every day, with regular office hours and occasional flexibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics, Technical Administration or Business Administration.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within logistics, medical or production environments.
• Experience in leading teams and participating in or leading projects.
• Strong knowledge of order management processes, including inbound, outbound and transport.
• A proactive mindset with the ability and willingness to identify and independently implement business improvements.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management products and services.
• Understanding of customer agreements and the service levels required to meet customer expectations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Customer Support and Transport operation while ensuring collaboration between your team, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure staff availability both quantitatively and qualitatively; coach and support supervisors.
• Maintain contacts with customers about bottlenecks and actions to solve them.
• Serve as escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand services to existing customers.
• Work on process improvements with your teams.
