Job summary

Arvato in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on Supervisor Traffic to lead daily transport coordination, ensure KPI targets and SLA adherence, and manage inbound and outbound shipments in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will lead a team of Traffic Employees, partner with carriers and internal stakeholders, and continuously improve transport efficiency using SAP and ERP/TMS tools. This role requires strong leadership, English proficiency, and the ability to work shifts.

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level
• Experience in transport, traffic, or logistics coordination
• Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role
• Knowledge of Excel and ERP/TMS systems, preferably SAP
• Good command of the English language
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Full-time availability and willingness to work shifts

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily outbound transport planning and ensuring KPIs and service levels are achieved
• Leading daily meetings with your team to review planning, priorities, and staffing needs
• Managing and coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring transport flows and adjusting planning throughout the day when needed
• Resolving escalations such as delays, shipment issues, and other operational challenges
• Monitoring transport performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and costs
• Coaching and motivating your team to maintain high performance
