Job summary

Arvato in Lelystad, Netherlands, is hiring a Traffic employee to ensure smooth inbound and outbound goods flows. You will coordinate movements, communicate with carriers and drivers, and assist on arrival and departure, contributing to accurate administrative processing of transport flows.

You'll work in a dynamic Traffic & Customer Support team, reporting to the Supervisor, with responsibilities across administrative and operational tasks in a high-tech warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• MBO+ level of working and thinking, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound transport movements.
• Maintain contact with carriers, drivers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status.
• Welcome and assist drivers upon arrival and departure.
• Assign the correct dock or gate position to incoming trucks.
• Check and process transport documentation.

Job description

As a Traffic employee in Lelystad, you ensure that inbound and outbound goods flows run smoothly. You are a key link between drivers, carriers, warehouse teams and internal stakeholders. Thanks to your overview, accuracy and communication skills, transport movements are executed efficiently and according to plan.

YOUR ROLE

As a Traffic employee, you are responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of transport-related processes. You maintain oversight of daily goods flows and support the coordination of inbound and outbound transportation activities.

You will be part of the Traffic & Customer Support team and work closely with Operations, Warehouse Support and other internal stakeholders. You will report to the Supervisor and play a visible role within the daily operation.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a communicative and well-organized Traffic employee who feels at home in a dynamic logistics environment and can maintain overview when multiple processes are running simultaneously.

• MBO+ level of working and thinking, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field;
• 1-3 years of experience within a logistics, transport or warehouse environment;
• Experience in logistics or warehouse operations;
• Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Available full-time and willing to work in a 2-shift operation;
• Accurate, communicative and able to perform well under pressure.
