Job summary

Maersk is expanding its Rotterdam team with a Customer Experience Consultant who owns the customer experience for Key Retail & Lifestyle customers. The role focuses on delivering end-to-end shipment excellence, building strong stakeholder relations, and improving business outcomes while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

You will manage inquiries, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with offshore GSC teams in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics and ocean freight/supply chain management.
• Strong communication and customer service experience.
• Ability to handle time-critical tasks with urgency.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Willingness to undergo background check (VOG).

Responsibilities

• Delivers a positive customer experience for all customers and ensures a smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle by working closely with the customer and internal teams.
• Looks after Key Retail & Lifestyle customers.
• Builds strong relationships with all stakeholders including offshore GSC teams.
• Is responsible for customer satisfaction and has experience with customer interaction.
• Handles incoming customer services queries, issues and exception management.
• Understands customers' business drivers, needs and requirements.
• Continuously works on improving the business.
• Responsible for finances.
