Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Operations Agent Gateway (Import / Export) to organize optimal transport for local and international clients, focusing on air freight. You will build relationships, secure pricing, book shipments, issue documents, and ensure compliant operations.

With at least 2 years as an air freight forwarder, you will communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams, maintaining shipment visibility and driving continuous process improvements in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Air Freight Forwarder.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
• Strong PC skills (Windows, MS Office).
• Experience with ITAR, Dangerous Goods or TSA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and plan efficient routes for shipments.
• Prepare and check documentation to meet customs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with third parties and carriers according to customer needs.
• Maintain shipment visibility and control through all phases of transit.
• Ensure shipments are billed within company guidelines and timelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and a safe work environment.
