Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Rotterdam is seeking an Operations Agent Airfreight to manage the day-to-day import/export of airfreight shipments within the Ship Spares Division. You will coordinate with customers, carriers and ports to ensure on-time loading, departures and arrivals.

The role requires at least 2 years of airfreight forwarder experience, fluency in English and Dutch, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Air Freight Forwarder.
Fluent in English and Dutch; strong communication.
Experience with airfreight import/export and scheduling.
Proficient with CargoWise is a plus.
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

Qualify shipping requirements with customers and gather necessary documentation.
Prepare accurate, profitable quotations.
Set shipping schedules and coordinate with customers, carriers and ports.
Coordinate day-to-day export of products and review orders.
Track shipments and resolve delays or issues.
Ensure shipments are billed per company guidelines.
Comply with Dangerous Goods regulations and ITAR.
Maintain KPI adherence and data entry accuracy.
Collaborate with sales and partners as needed.
Contribute to a healthy and secure work environment.
