Job summary

CM.com in the Netherlands is seeking a Solution Engineer to be the technical bridge between sales and clients. You will shape complex, cross‑product deals into concrete, well‑scoped designs for HALO and our Customer Experience Platform, ready to hand over to delivery from day one.

You translate customer needs into detailed designs, run demos and PoCs for technical and business stakeholders, and stay involved through implementation to ensure the outcome is delivered.

Qualifications

• Background in solution consulting, technical consultancy, or pre-sales.
• Strong AI and SaaS knowledge as your primary domain. Familiarity with marketing automation, customer service platforms, or data platforms is a bonus.
• A strong autodidactic streak: you enjoy diving into new products independently, doing your own research, and knowing enough about a solution to defend it at a client table.
• The helicopter view to hold the bigger picture while working at detail level and the confidence to push back with clients, sales, and delivery when something is not right. Fluent in English and Dutch, based in Breda.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical sparring partner for Sales in complex, cross-product sales cycles across the Netherlands and global hubs. Qualifying opportunities, uncovering integration requirements, and challenging both clients and internal stakeholders when the situation calls for it.
• Translate abstract ideas and product possibilities into detailed solution designs. Mapping data flows, configurations, and integrations across products like HALO and our Customer Experience Platform so nothing is left to interpretation at handover.
• Run demos and proof-of-concepts that bring our proposition to life for both technical and business stakeholders, and contribute to RFP/RFI responses with well-structured technical proposals.
• Stay involved through implementation. Not just handing over, but making sure the solution you designed gets built the way it was intended.
