Job summary
An educational institution in Malaysia seeks qualified candidates for academic roles focusing on teaching and research. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree, along with excellent communication skills and familiarity with digital learning technologies. Responsibilities include independent teaching, contributing to curriculum development, and leading scholarship within their discipline. Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field from a reputed institution.
- Excellent academic results from pre-university level onwards.
- Prior teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Undertake independent teaching and research in his or her discipline.
- Make an independent contribution that expands knowledge.
- Demonstrate expertise and provide leadership, coordinating activities of other staff.
- Contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

- Demonstrate expertise and provide leadership and service that includes coordination of activities of other staff, as appropriate to the discipline.
- Contribute to teaching at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate level.
- Engage in independent scholarship and/or research; and
- Contribute to professional activities appropriate to his or her profession or discipline.
- Required to perform the full academic responsibilities of and related administration for the coordination of an award program of the institution.
- Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience in a relevant field from a reputed institution.
- Master’s degree (preferably by research) / Doctoral degree (preferably by research) in a relevant field from a reputed institution
- Excellent academic results from pre-university level onwards.
- Professional qualification in a relevant field or those progressing towards the qualification
- Registration with relevant professional body (if applicable).
- Knowledge in relevant sub-areas or specialist areas.
- Research track record.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Prior teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital learning technologies.
