Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Kulai, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to assist in managing daily operations and ensuring that production processes meet strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate holds a relevant diploma or degree and has substantial experience in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on adhering to ISO standards while identifying opportunities for process improvement and training production staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in managing day-to-day operations.
- Supervise production activities to ensure quality standards.

- Track WIP for accuracy and traceability.

Job description
Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in managing day-to-day operations.
- Supervise production activities to ensure products meet quality standards for QA checks and on-time delivery to customers with zero quality issues.
- Ensure all production processes strictly follow ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress) to ensure accuracy and traceability throughout production stages.
- Identify and implement opportunities for production improvement, process efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Coordinate with QA, Purchasing, Sales, and other relevant departments for smooth production flow.
- Maintain records and reports as required by ISO standards and internal SOPs.
- Train and guide production workers on quality and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and process optimization.
