A leading food and beverage firm in Bandar Baru Bangi is looking for an Assistant Kitchen Crew Leader. This role involves assisting in the management of kitchen operations, maintaining food quality, and training kitchen staff. Ideal candidates are fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of cooking experience and a passion for Asian Fusion cuisine. The position offers a salary of up to RM 2,300, with annual leave and statutory benefits.

We are representing our client from F&B industry. As our client is expanding, they are looking for AssistantKitchen Crew Leader to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensure restaurants run smoothly and efficiently.
- Assist in Managing Kitchen Staff: Assist the Kitchen lead in the overall management of kitchen / staff ensuring smooth operations, collaboration, and a positive working environment.
- Assist in Maintaining Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, adhering to the group\'s acclaimed reputation. This includes daily checks & execution of established forms to be posted in the WhatsApp group for this purpose.
- Assist in Compliance with Recipes and SOPs: Act as a diligent overseer (after the Kitchen Lead) to guarantee that all dishes are prepared and presented according to precise recipes and standard operating procedures. This includes daily posting of menu sampling every 1 pm / 8 pm for random checking by the management.
- Assist in the Inventory Management: After the Kitchen Lead, this candidate is expected to be responsible for ordering supplies, managing inventory, and minimizing waste to ensure cost-effective operations per the target set of Monthly F&B purchases of not more than 45% (target 40%).
- Assist in the Staff Training and Development: Assist in the continuous training and development of kitchen staff, fostering growth and maintaining uniformity in food preparation.
- Fresh Graduate or 1 year of cooking experience; working in a restaurant environment.
- Passionate about Asian Fusion cuisine, with a focus on creativity and innovation.
- Strong person skills and independent
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Able to work shifts, on weekends and Public Holiday
- Highly motivated, energetic, positive working attitude and a quick learner
