Job Description
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial statements on time for management review with a high level of accuracy and discipline.
  • Maintain a full set of accounts – including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and assist with audit documentation and audit queries.
  • Ensure timely payments of all regular expenses and adherence to contract terms.
  • Monitor sales collections and ensure efficient debt recovery.
  • Handle tax compliance in line with the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967.
  • Perform general accounting and administrative duties as required.
  • Demonstrate discipline and ownership in delivering quality work within deadlines.
  • Guide and support other team members.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in a relevant accounting role, with solid knowledge in handling a full set of accounts.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Highly meticulous, responsible, and possesses a positive working attitude.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player who collaborates well across departments.
  • Candidates with knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and/or immediate availability to start will have an added advantage.
