A leading food distribution company in Selangor is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee stock management and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, with 1–2 years of experience in inventory and logistics. Responsibilities include collaborating with warehouses, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining inventory systems. Candidates should possess strong numerical and problem-solving skills, alongside proficiency in inventory software. This role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Stock Reconciliation: Collaborate with third-party warehouses to reconcile stock levels and ensure accuracy.
Warehouse Monitoring: Regularly monitor in-house warehouse stock levels and coordinate operations for efficiency.
System Maintenance: Maintain inventory management systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Expiry and Damage Management: Work closely with the marketing team to manage product expiry dates and minimize losses from damaged goods.
Stock Level Monitoring: Alert relevant teams to low stock levels and facilitate actions for replenishment.
Import Shipment Handling: Oversee import shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely arrivals.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with various supply chain‑related tasks as needed.
