Summary:
Under light supervision, monitor ingredient, in-process or finished product quality, product safety and environment through microbiological testing. Perform simple to moderately complex micro testing techniques or using analytical equipment. Operate, maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation. Perform the environment microbiological monitoring and sampling. Prepare standards and controls. Record and evaluate data, calculate and enter results into LabWare LIMS. Prepare tables and graphs of data as appropriate. Determine validity of those results as they relate to the type of tests completed and being done according to the leadtime that has been committed. Communicate data to Microbiologist & Analytical Lab executive in timely manner.
Summary of major duties:
Perform ingredient, in-process, flushing or finished product testing and preparation job.
Perform environmental microbiological monitoring program and support unplanned event e.g. incident, new project.
Prepare Certificate of Analysis for the Customer
Ensure sufficient consumables, media and kits for daily operation
Prepare standards and controls. Record and evaluate data, calculate and enter results into LabWare LIMS. Prepare tables and graphs of data as appropriate.
Maintain housekeeping, GLP and follow safety procedures in the lab.
Qualification:
Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Food Technology, Chemical related studies with related field with 1-2 years of applicable professional working experience
Ability to form strong and effective working relationships with manufacturing management, QA, and other technical disciplines.
Willing to work at Senai area.
