Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Manager/Quality Asst. Manager to ensure the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, and serves as the Document Controller and Internal auditor
• Responsible to ensure all the semi product and finished products conforms to specification
• Responsible to conduct audits on suppliers, and implement ways for continuous improvement
• To ensure all measurement equipment’s are calibrated as per schedule and to keep proper maintenance of all records
• Proactively identify potential quality issues through effective data analysis and root cause findings
• Responsible to ensure subordinates work practices are safe and healthful
• Maintain good working environment in terms of safety, health and housekeeping
• Responsible to organize non-standard sample preparation with relevant departments for any sample enquiry or testing
• Monitor efficiency of sample preparation and delivered in order not to jeopardize business potentials initiated by sales (ROCKSELL)
• Responsible to conduct periodic audit on deliveries
• Responsible to ensure the demo room is in good condition
• Proactively involve/ lead on ROPEX meeting
• Responsible to do weekly test for pH, Chloride & Fiber Diameter
• Assisting QA Executive & QA Manager / Assist Manager to attend Customer Complaint if required
• Assisting QA Senior Engineer & QA Manager / Assist Manager to attend External Audit Certification Bodies.
• Issuing mill cert to CS and other relevant parties as per required.
• To delegate daily task to QA Controller (Strength Test, Moisture Content etc.)
• Assisting in all ad-hoc tasks as per required
