We are looking for an English Teacher who is passionate about early literacy, language development, and fostering confident young communicators. This role primarily focuses on teaching English in a creative and immersive way, with the added opportunity to introduce Nature Science through outdoor, hands-on experiences.

• Teach English in a Way That Comes Alive – Deliver engaging lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through stories, songs, movement, and play.
• Foster Confident Young Communicators – Support students in building vocabulary, expressing themselves, and developing a love for language.
• Design Engaging, Waldorf-Aligned Lessons – Plan creative, interdisciplinary lessons in English and Nature Science
• Incorporate Outdoor Learning: Bring Nature Science to life with outdoor lessons, nature walks and seasonal observations.
• Work in Small Classes – With less than 20 students per class, you’ll have the space to personalise learning and build strong student relationships.
• Personalise Learning for Diverse Needs – Provide structured support for English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners, ensuring all students develop strong literacy foundations.
• Guide Students’ Social & Emotional Growth – Foster kindness, resilience, and confidence, helping students navigate challenges and friendships.
• Partner with Parents & the School Community – Communicate openly and regularly with families and contribute to school-wide events and initiatives.

• A qualified English teacher with a strong foundation in literacy development.

• Open to learning the Waldorf approach, including storytelling, movement-based learning, and interdisciplinary teaching.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (Education, English or a related field preferred).
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, etc.).
• Experience teaching early years and/or primary English
• EAL teaching experience is an advantage
• Experience with outdoor learning or nature-based education is a plus!
