• Manage all material quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier and customer)
• Work with internal manufacturing staff and material suppliers to resolve quality issues fast to prevent interruption to production.
• Carry out New Supplier qualifications and yearly suppliers audit to ensure sustainable excellent product quality and compliance to IATF 16949/ISO9001 standard.
• Drive supplier corrective action (8D / SCAR) closure and verify effectiveness to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in new material approval and cost down projects.
• Manage suppliers’ performance to ensure keeping to internal KPIs.
• Participate as Internal auditor.
• Drive supplier Quality Development and Improvement projects.

• Degree in Engineering, Science or its equivalent field from recognized Higher Institution.
• Prefer a minimum 3 years’ working experience in supplier management.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16949 QMS standard.
• Prefer understanding AIAG core tools requirements of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Teamwork and negotiation skills.
• Experience in Problem-solving skills such as 8D, 5 WHY.
• Prefer to have knowledge of Data analysis capability (SPC, Cpk, trend analysis) to drive fact-based decisions.
• Able to travel to supplier sites (local and overseas) for site audits.
