Job summary

DCO Interior Sdn Bhd is hiring an Accounts & Admin Executive in Subang Jaya to support day-to-day accounting, financial administration and general office operations.

You will handle AP/AR, invoicing, payments, reconciliations and month-end tasks while coordinating with QS/Commercial, Project and Design teams. Fresh graduates are welcome; exposure to interior design projects is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in accounts and/or administration.
  • Familiarity with SST and e-Invoice is an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive team player who can add value to our Accounts & Administrative department.

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, organised and detail-oriented Accounts & Admin Executive to support the company's day-to-day accounting, financial administration and general office operations.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is comfortable handling numbers and documentation while also coordinating administrative matters across different departments.

As part of a growing interior design & build company, you will work closely with Management, QS/Commercial, Project, Design and Business Operations teams and gain exposure to both the financial and operational sides of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance

Handle day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, debit/credit notes and other accounting documents.

Monitor outstanding customer payments and follow up on collections.

Process supplier, subcontractor and company payments based on approved documentation.

Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.

Manage petty cash, staff claims, reimbursements and company expenses.

Assist in preparing monthly accounts and management reports.

Coordinate with QS/Commercial and Project teams on project billing, progress claims, supplier/subcontractor payments and supporting documents.

Assist with cash flow monitoring and payment schedules.

Support month-end and year-end closing.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and relevant external parties when required.

Assist with SST, e-Invoice and statutory requirements where applicable.

Administration & Office Operations

Handle general office administration and maintain proper physical and digital filing.

Prepare letters, forms, reports and other company documents.

Manage office supplies, equipment and general office requirements.

Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, building management and service providers.

Maintain company records, administrative trackers and documentation.

Monitor licences, insurance, subscriptions, agreements and renewal dates where applicable.

Assist with meeting arrangements, travel, accommodation and company activities when required.

Support basic employee administration including onboarding documentation, attendance and leave records where required.

Provide administrative support to Management and other departments.

Perform other accounting, administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

Preferably 1-3 years of relevant working experience in accounts and/or administration.

Fresh graduates with a relevant accounting/finance background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with experience in interior design, construction, renovation or project-based businesses will have an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliation and accounting documentation.

Familiarity with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and/or Google Workspace.

Knowledge of SST and e-Invoice is an advantage.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers.

Able to prioritise multiple tasks and follow through independently.

Responsible and trustworthy when handling confidential financial and company information.
