To supervise safe, accurate and efficient warehouse operations while coordinating inventory and supply chain activities. The role ensures timely receiving, storage, issuing and delivery of materials, maintains stock accuracy, follows up on purchase orders and shipments, and supports operational requirements in compliance with company procedures and ISO 9001 & 45001 requirements.
Key responsibilities
Supervise daily receiving, inspection, labelling, put-away, picking, issuing and delivery activities.
Ensure physical goods are checked against suppliers' delivery orders, purchase records and the ERP system.
Ensure all stock movements, including GRNs, EPIs, transfers and adjustments, are recorded accurately and promptly.
Maintain proper bin locations, stock identification and warehouse organisation.
Ensure parts are issued according to approved work instructions, project codes or authorised requests.
Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers, customers and transport providers.
Monitor warehouse space utilisation and recommend improvements to storage arrangements.
Monitor inventory levels and identify items that require replenishment.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual stocktakes.
Investigate stock discrepancies and report the findings to management.
About you
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing or a related field.
At least three years of relevant warehouse or supply chain experience, including supervisory experience.
Good knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
Experience using ERP or inventory-management systems; AutoCount experience would be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
Able to operate material-handling equipment or hold a valid forklift licence would be an advantage.
Strong leadership and team-supervision skills.
Good planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on inventory accuracy.
Able to prioritise tasks and respond to urgent operational requirements.
