Job summary

Bright Prospect is seeking a Support Assistant Manager, Operations to oversee daily warehousing and logistics activities in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The role requires guiding the team to meet KPI targets, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe, compliant processes across inbound and outbound flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in warehousing and logistics.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Diploma or SPM in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to achieve department KPI targets.
• Prepare and update documentation per account and customer requirements.
• Ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound activities.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety.
• Supervise staff performance and use of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Provide on-the-job training to warehouse staff.
• Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Update WMS for stock returns and closeout items.
• Manage inventory accuracy via cycle counts, monthly reconciliations and reporting.

• Support Assistant Manager, Operations, in daily operations.

• Ensure work processes comply with procedures; maintain warehouse housekeeping.
• Ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound activities.
• Maintain high operational efficiency.
• Supervise staff performance and ensure proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Provide on-the-job training to warehouse staff.
• Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Update WMS for stock returns and closeout items.
• Manage inventory accuracy via cycle counts, monthly reconciliations, and reporting.
• Report warehouse irregularities to Assistant Manager, Operations.
• Ensure warehouse safety and security measures are followed.
• Support Assistant Manager, Operations, in work improvement projects.
• Liaise with customers on operational and service matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in warehousing and logistics, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
