Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Klang seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and monitor daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in basic computer or WMS use.
• Physically fit and able to handle fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper stock organization, labeling, and storage practices.
• Coordinate with other departments (procurement, QC, transport, customer service) for smooth operations.
• Supervise and motivate team leaders and warehouse assistants.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
• Provide training, coaching, and disciplinary support when necessary.
• Inventory & Documentation: Ensure all inventory movements are recorded accurately in the system (WMS).
• Perform stock checks, cycle counts, and variance investigations.
• Review and verify warehouse documentation (GRN, DO, stock reports).
• Maintain accurate reports for management review.
• Safety, Quality & Compliance: Enforce compliance with warehouse safety procedures and PPE use.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments regularly.
• Ensure all goods are handled properly to prevent damage or loss.
• Implement continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency and safety standards.
• Equipment & Facility Management: Oversee proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Report any equipment breakdowns or facility issues promptly.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and good housekeeping at all times.
