TC PRO SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time.
You will plan daily workload and manpower, monitor stock movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate with other departments to resolve delivery issues and urgent orders.
Oversee and manage the overall day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and stock movement.
Ensure customer orders are picked, packed and handed over to courier / logistics partners accurately and within the required timeline.
Plan daily warehouse workload and manpower allocation according to order volume and operational priorities.
Ensure incoming goods are properly checked, recorded, labelled and stored in the correct locations.
Monitor warehouse capacity, storage arrangement and product placement to ensure efficient use of space.
Ensure products are stored and handled appropriately to minimise damage, breakage, loss or deterioration.
Coordinate closely with relevant departments on stock availability, urgent orders, delivery issues and operational requirements.
Lead, supervise and manage warehouse employees on a daily basis.
Assign duties and responsibilities clearly to warehouse team members.
Prepare manpower arrangements, duty allocation and work schedules when required.
Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, work quality and discipline.
Provide proper instructions, training and guidance to new and existing warehouse employees.
Ensure employees understand and comply with warehouse procedures, company policies and safety requirements.
Identify performance or disciplinary issues and take appropriate follow-up action together with Management / HR.
Conduct regular team briefings and ensure operational instructions are properly communicated.
Develop employees' capabilities and ensure that duties are not dependent on only one individual.
Take responsibility for maintaining accurate physical stock and warehouse records.
Monitor stock movement and ensure all incoming, outgoing, transfer and adjustment transactions are properly recorded.
Carry out regular cycle counts, stock checks and full stock counts as required.
Investigate stock discrepancies promptly and identify possible causes.
Prepare discrepancy findings and corrective actions for Management.
Ensure damaged, returned, defective or abnormal stock is properly identified, separated and recorded.
Monitor slow-moving, misplaced or unidentified stock and ensure timely follow-up.
Establish effective controls to reduce stock shortages, wrong picking, missing goods and inventory discrepancies.
Develop, propose and maintain practical warehouse SOPs, workflows, checklists and control procedures based on actual warehouse operations.
Review existing processes and recommend improvements instead of waiting for Management to provide step-by-step operational instructions.
Ensure warehouse employees understand and consistently follow approved SOPs.
Establish clear procedures for receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, stock transfer, returns, damaged goods and inventory checking.
Maintain proper operational records and ensure required documentation is completed.
Regularly review warehouse processes and implement preventive measures when recurring problems are identified.
Actively identify operational problems and take ownership of resolving them.
Investigate abnormal situations such as missing stock, incorrect quantities, damaged goods, packing errors and delayed shipments.
Identify the root cause of operational issues and propose practical corrective and preventive actions.
Escalate serious operational issues to Management promptly with clear facts and recommended solutions.
Monitor whether corrective actions are effective after implementation.
Continuously improve warehouse productivity, accuracy, organisation and workflow efficiency.
Monitor daily e-commerce order fulfilment and ensure orders are processed within platform and courier cut-off times.
Prioritise urgent, same-day or time-sensitive orders when necessary.
Monitor outstanding or unprocessed orders and ensure timely follow-up.
Coordinate with the customer service, administration and relevant teams when order or stock issues arise.
Minimise order cancellation, late shipment, wrong item and packing errors caused by warehouse operations.
Maintain a clean, organised and professional warehouse environment.
Ensure racks, shelves, working areas and stock locations are properly labelled and organised.
Ensure heavier, fragile or damage-sensitive products are stored appropriately.
Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Ensure access to stock areas is properly controlled.
Support Management in reviewing warehouse security issues and investigating unusual stock movements or incidents.
Ensure employees comply with workplace safety and company rules.
Provide regular updates to Management regarding warehouse operations, manpower, inventory discrepancies and outstanding issues.
Prepare warehouse reports or records when required.
Maintain proper follow-up on issues until they are resolved rather than only reporting the problem.
Take ownership of the warehouse team's operational performance and ensure agreed actions are implemented.
Perform other warehouse management duties reasonably assigned by Management.
Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse / logistics experience, preferably with supervisory or management responsibilities.
Experience managing warehouse employees and daily operations is strongly preferred.
Experience in e-commerce, trading, distribution or high-volume order fulfilment will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of inventory control, stock movement and warehouse operations.
Able to develop and implement practical SOPs and operational procedures.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Able to give clear instructions and hold team members accountable for assigned duties.
Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to investigate operational issues independently.
Responsible, organised, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing operational priorities.
Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with inventory / warehouse systems and spreadsheets.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
