Plassein Industry Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager to plan, direct, and optimize warehouse operations across receiving, storage, and dispatch. You will ensure inventory accuracy, implement policies, manage the budget, and drive improvements with cross‑functional teams for on‑time delivery.
The role requires 7–10 years in warehouse/logistics with 2–3 years in leadership, strong ERP knowledge, safety compliance, and people management skills.
Plan, direct, and manage overall warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch to ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and layout optimization to improve productivity, space utilization, and safety.
Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and shrinkage control across all warehouse locations.
Lead, supervise, and develop the Warehouse Supervisor(s) and warehouse team, including manpower planning, training, and performance management.
Manage warehouse budget, control operating costs, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
Ensure warehouse documentation, ERP system accuracy, and shipping/receiving records are properly maintained and audit‑ready.
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics departments to ensure timely material availability and on‑time delivery.
Drive compliance with ISO, RBA, WCA, and other applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions for warehouse‑related incidents, discrepancies, or disruptions.
Review and report warehouse KPIs to management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 7-10 years' experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial/leadership role.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP, warehouse safety standards, and regulatory compliance (ISO, RBA, WCA).
Proven leadership, strategic planning, budgeting, and people management skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills across departments.
Approve warehouse operational plans, manpower deployment, and overtime arrangements.
Authorize stock movement, inventory write‑offs/adjustments, and corrective actions within approved limits.
Approve warehouse budget expenditure within authorized limits.
Recommend hiring, disciplinary action, and performance appraisal for warehouse staff.
Warehouse / factory floor and office environment; exposure to forklifts, pallets, and material handling.
May require overtime, extended hours, or availability during high‑volume periods or urgent operational issues.
Maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Achieve ≥95% on‑time dispatch and delivery from warehouse.
Reduce warehouse‑related damages/losses by ≥10% annually.
Ensure 100% compliance in ISO, RBA, and WCA warehouse audits.
Maintain warehouse operating cost within approved budget.
