TECHMAN ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks a skilled Warehouse Supervisor/Deputy Manager for its Bukit Minyak, Penang facility. You will lead a warehouse team, ensure accurate inventory, and drive safe, efficient order fulfilment across receipt, storage, picking and dispatch.

With at least 5 years in SMT manufacturing warehousing, you will optimize layouts, enforce HSE standards, and collaborate with Sales, Procurement and Logistics to meet KPIs and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SMT manufacturing warehouse experience.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and inventory controls.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor/Deputy Manager to join TECHMAN ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Bukit Minyak, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution facility. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse activities, leading a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring that all operations meet our high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency. This role is essential to supporting our supply chain objectives and maintaining customer satisfaction through reliable and timely order fulfilment.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, performance management and disciplinary procedures

Monitor warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to identify discrepancies

Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Optimise warehouse layout and storage methods to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency

Liaise with other departments including Sales, Procurement and Logistics to coordinate warehouse activities

Prepare and review warehouse reports, metrics and performance indicators

Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of systems and tools

Address operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve processes

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in SMT manufacturing warehouse operations

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures

Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations within a warehouse environment

Proficiency in using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Experience with electronics or technology products is preferred but not essential

Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies would be advantageous
