MEDANTS TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to handle day-to-day warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, and stock management in Subang Jaya.

You will coordinate deliveries, assist with local ad-hoc duties, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic English/Malay, and the ability to lift and move items, with prior warehouse experience preferred.

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day warehouse operations, including

picking and packing orders, organizing deliveries, managing physical inventory, and assisting with ad-hoc local deliveries when required.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, organized, and possesses a strong work ethic to ensure smooth stock flow and timely customer shipments.

Key responsibilities

1. Order Picking & Packing

Accurate picking of items based on picking lists or customer orders.

Inspect items for quality and report any damages or discrepancies before packing.

Safely pack goods using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.

Label outgoing packages accurately with shipping and delivery details.

2. Delivery Coordination & Logistics

Prepare and organize daily shipment orders for courier pickups or scheduled deliveries.

Assist in loading and unloading goods onto/from delivery vehicles.

Conduct ad-hoc local deliveries or errands using the company vehicle when necessary.

3. Stock & Inventory Management

Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe warehouse environment.

Receive incoming shipments, verify stock against delivery orders, and stock goods into designated storage locations.

Assist with regular physical stock counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy reporting.

Monitor inventory stock levels and alert management when reorder thresholds are reached.

4. Ad-Hoc Duties

Perform general maintenance and housekeeping tasks within the warehouse area.

Operate warehouse tools and equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).

Assist with other warehouse or logistical operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What we're looking for

Education & Experience: High school diploma, SPM, or equivalent. Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stockroom setting is preferred.

Driver's License: Valid driving license (e.g., Class D or GDL) with a clean driving record for ad-hoc deliveries.

Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items throughout the day.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Basic numerical skills for inventory counting.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Language: Basic proficiency in spoken and written English/Malay (or local language as required).
