Job summary

XIN HWA SUPPLY CHAIN SDN BHD is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in Shah Alam. The role focuses on stock takes, audits, and ensuring efficient inbound/outbound flow.

You will monitor shipments, supervise staff, and coordinate overtime when needed, while maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse environment and supporting customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ degree in logistics or related field is required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in warehousing/logistics, fresh graduates may be considered.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently, prioritise and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly stock take and assist customer audits.
• Monitor inbound/outbound shipments and resolve operation issues.
• Plan and coordinate overtime when necessary.
• Maintain workplace, equipment and storage areas.
• Assist customers and support warehouse operations.
• Attend operation meetings and follow up on customer requests.
• Supervise warehouse staff and conduct daily briefings.
• Ensure smooth warehouse operations coordinating with office.
• Update incidents and assist investigations with corrective actions.
• Contribute to safety/OSH compliance and risk reduction.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by superior.

Job description

Conduct monthly stock take and involve in customers’ audit and preparation.

Monitor the incoming and outgoing shipment and operation issues.

Plan and coordinate overtime arrangement when necessary.

Ensure the workplace, equipment & storage area are well maintained.

Assist on inquiries from the customers to support warehouse operations.

Attending operation meetings with superior, if necessary, follow up and act on customer’s requests.

Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including conducting daily briefings.

Responsible for the efficient and smooth running of warehouse operations by liaising between warehouse and office.

Update incident and accident to superior as well as assist in the investigation. Provide reports with corrective and preventive action.

Improve and comply with the safety and health standards in accordance with OSHA and customer requirements. Provide suggestions for risk reductions.

Carry out any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements & Skills:

Diploma/ Degree in Logistic or related field.

Min 4 years’ experience in related field. However, fresh graduates would be considered.

High sense of responsibility, able to work independently, prioritize and delegate tasks.

Computer literate, good knowledge in WMS and Ms Excel.

Language Proficiency: English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Able to drive a forklift and reach truck is preferable.

Can start work immediately will be an added advantage.
