Job summary

HAVI is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Klang, Malaysia. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards to support smooth distribution operations.

The role requires 2–3 years of warehousing experience, coordination with shipping, and the ability to work a 6-day, multi-shift pattern in a multi-temperature facility. English and Bahasa Malaysia fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in logistics management or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ experience in warehousing.
• Experience in multi-temperature warehouse is a plus.
• Willing to work on shift, weekends and public holidays.
• Proactive, independent and team player.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities to support operations.
• Measure and report effectiveness of warehousing activities and staff performance.
• Maintain item records and generate reports for warehouse status.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GWP, DQMP and QMS standards.
• Achieve high customer satisfaction through accurate receiving, dispatching and quality assurance.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Coordinate with shipping to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Warehouse Executive/Manager.

Job description

• To oversee day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure good support for operation.


• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ performance.


• Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.


• Ensure the Distribution Centre(s) complies with and maintains all Food Safety Management Standard, Good Warehouse Practice, Quality Management System (QMS), Social Workplace Accountability (SWA) & Distribution Quality Management Process (DQMP),


• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.


• To ensure Distribution Centre/ Warehouse is complying with GWP / DQMP standards.


• Maintain a good housekeeping and safety standard at all times.


• Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.


• Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.


• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.


• To liaise with shipping closely to ensure shipments are delivered on time.


• To perform other ad-hoc activities/ assignments by Warehouse Executive / Warehouse Manager.

Qualification & Skills:

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in logistic management or equivalent.


• Min 2-3 years experiences related field preferably in warehousing environment.


• Experience working in multi-temperature warehouse will be added advantage


• Familiar with shipping, logistics activities and other related activities and procedures.


• Willing to work on shift-basis, weekends, festive season.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Strong communication skills in dealing with both internal and external parties.


• Excellent communication skill both in Bahasa Malaysia and English (oral and written)


• Excellent computer skills – any Warehouse Management System & Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)


• Proactive, result oriented and a good team player.


• Ability to communicate with a variety of people at different levels.


• Willing to work 6 days with 3 shift pattern at Bukit Raja, Klang
