Job summary

SLS Group of Companies is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations for FMCG products at its Johor Bahru site.

You will supervise activities such as receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, while leading warehouse staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Prior supervisory experience is preferred and forklift qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of warehouse experience in FMCG or distribution.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and FIFO/FEFO.
• Able to lead and manage warehouse staff.

Job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to manage our daily warehouse operations for FMCG products.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Lead and manage warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure accurate stock records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Monitor FIFO/FEFO and control damaged or expired products.
• Check incoming and outgoing goods for quantity, quality and expiry dates.
• Ensure customer orders are picked and prepared accurately and on time.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation and safety.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance and productivity.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing and Delivery teams.
• Handle stock discrepancies and other warehouse issues.
• Ensure company SOPs are followed.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of warehouse experience, preferably in FMCG or distribution.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and FIFO/FEFO.
• Able to lead and manage warehouse staff.
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Responsible, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Hands-on and willing to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience/licence is an advantage.
