Meijie Industrial (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Johor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team in a factory setting. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure safety and housekeeping, and coordinate with Production, Purchasing and QC.
The role covers inventory control, ERP data entry, cycle counts, and occasional forklift work during peak periods; training and forklift certification are sponsored by the company.
This is a Warehouse Supervisor role based in a factory environment. You will supervise and manage a team of warehouse workers, overseeing daily operations including inventory tracking, layout optimization, and coordination across departments. You will be responsible for maintaining safety and housekeeping standards, handling documentation and ERP data entry, and ensuring stock accuracy through regular cycle counts. The role includes occasional material handling and forklift operation during peak periods, with formal training and certification fully sponsored by the company.
Key responsibilities
Supervise, guide, and manage a team of warehouse workers to ensure smooth daily operations
Plan and rearrange warehouse layout to improve workflow, efficiency, and tidiness
Monitor all incoming and outgoing goods, providing accurate, real-time updates to management
Handle shipping and receiving paperwork and manage basic inventory data entry using the company's ERP system
Conduct daily random stock checks (cycle counts) to ensure physical inventory matches system records
Liaise with Production, Purchasing, and QC to ensure materials are received and dispatched without delays
Monitor and enforce workplace safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards on the warehouse floor
Drive the forklift during peak periods or worker absences
Prepare and dispense raw materials to the Production Line as requested
Perform basic quality and quantity checks on incoming shipments to ensure goods meet company standards
About you
Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
Proven hands-on experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a factory environment
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English to communicate effectively with floor workers and management
Basic computer literacy, comfortable with ERP data entry, and familiar with mobile reporting
Familiarity with space planning and 5S principles (Sort, Set In order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Physically fit, proactive, and willing to work in a standard factory environment
Readiness to learn forklift operation
Mandarin is an added advantage
