Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small team and oversee daily warehouse operations and deliveries across inbound and outbound activities.

You will coordinate with office teams to ensure timely execution, maintain stock accuracy, conduct cycle counts, safeguard goods, and ensure SOP and paperwork compliance, with exposure to import shipments and cargo clearance.

Qualifications

• Speak and write in English.
• Diploma in logistics or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
• Experience in import/export and shipping.
• Knowledge of cargo clearance permit declaration.
• At least 3 years of experience as Warehouse Executive/Supervisor or related field.
• Available to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2-3 responsible for daily warehouse operations and deliveries.
• Plan and coordinate with office teams to ensure timely operations and deliveries.
• Ensure inventory transactions are completed on time and stock accuracy is maintained.
• Conduct stock counts and address stock discrepancies.
• Ensure security, accountability, SOPs, and paperwork compliance for goods.
• Ensure timely filing of documents and proper warehouse documentation.
• Organize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.
• Develop and evaluate staff to improve warehouse efficiency.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure cleanliness and safe operation of warehouse tools and equipment.
• Liaise with vendors/suppliers for import shipments.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Knowledge of cargo clearance permit declaration.

• Leading a team of 2-3 who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and deliveries.
• Plan and coordinate with office teams to ensure timely operations and deliveries.
• To ensure all inventory transactions are completed within the timeline and maintain stock accuracy.
• To conduct stock count and assist to account for stock discrepancies.
• To ensure the security and accountability of goods with inventory control, and strict adherence to SOPs and paperwork.
• To ensure filing of documents is completed on time and accurately.
• To organize the layout of warehouse and ensure effective utilization of warehouse spacing.
• To develop and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• To suggest improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations.
• To ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse and proper and safe functioning of warehouse tools, facilities and equipment.
• In charge of liaising with the company’s vendors/suppliers for import shipments.
• To perform other functions as and when required.

Requirements

• Candidate must be able to speak and write in English.
