Job summary

HICOM-Teck See Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Lead to plan and coordinate operations at the distribution center for manufacturing plants in Malaysia.

You will work with clients, suppliers and transport partners to schedule delivery, dispatch, storage, and stock monitoring using computer systems, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role also oversees staff planning, recruitment, training, security, and equipment

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics or related field.
• 5+ years in warehouse and distribution operations.
• Statistical training.
• Inventory management.
• Logistic management.
• Planning and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with client, suppliers and transport companies.
• Plan the delivery and dispatch of goods.
• Monitor and set aside storage space.
• Track stock levels using computer programs.
• Ensure stock safety and storage for chemicals or food.
• Plan workload for warehouse staff.
• Organize recruitment and staff training.
• Manage security arrangements and maintenance scheduling of equipment.
• Ensure QMS conforms to international standards and drives improvements.

Summary

Job Description

• Working closely with client, suppliers and transport companies.
• Planning the delivery and dispatch of goods.
• Monitoring and setting aside storage space.
• Tracking stock levels using computer programs.
• Making sure stock is stored correctly and safety, for example chemicals or food.
• Planning workload for warehouse staff.
• Organizing recruitment and staff training.
• You would also be responsible for security arrangements at the warehouse, and scheduling the maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment.
• Shall assign the responsibility and authority:
  • Ensuring the quality management system conforms to the requirements the International Standard
  • Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.
  • Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and determine/select opportunities for improvement and implement any necessary actions to meet customer requirements and update top management.
  • Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization
  • Ensuring the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented

Requirements

A. Education
