Job summary

SPX Express in Sabah is seeking a logistics supervisor to coordinate daily driver activities and parcel operations. You will oversee sorters and drivers, receive inbound parcels, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires leadership and strong communication, with flexibility for rotational shifts and overtime. Prior experience in logistics is advantageous, and familiarity with routing and mapping is a plus. Sabah-based candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant discipline.
Legally allowed to work in Sabah as per state requirements.
Based in Kampung Merotai Besar Sabah or willing to relocate there.
Willing to work on rotational shifts with 45 hours weekly and possible overtime.
Basic Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Experience in logistics operations is advantageous.
Familiarity with postcodes, routing and mapping is beneficial.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to handle ambiguous situations.
Fast learner in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Delegate tasks for sorters and drivers depending on headcount.
Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor driver behavior and maintain high customer service standards.
Assist the fleet team lead with deployment and training of new drivers.
Monitor KPI compliance.
Ensure safety policies and SOPs for in-hub parcel collection are followed.
