Job summary

SPX Express in Sabah is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage daily operations, delegate tasks to sorters and drivers, and ensure timely deliveries. You will oversee inbound parcels, monitor driver behavior, and support training efforts for new drivers, while maintaining KPI compliance and safety SOPs.

This role requires leadership, clear communication, and a proactive approach in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in Sabah.
• Based in Pitas Sabah is preferred.
• Willing to work on a rotational shift basis.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in logistics operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with postcodes, routing and mapping.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations.
• Fast learner in a dynamic environment.
• Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required.
• Working location: Pitas, Sabah.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on headcounts.
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable.
• Monitor and report KPI compliance.
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection.
