Job summary

SPX Express is seeking a logistics operations coordinator in Kuala Lumpur to pre-plan sorter/driver shifts and delegate tasks to meet delivery targets. You will manage inventory, receive inbound parcels, and generate internal reports to inform management decisions.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, with shift work and a focus on safety and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• Candidates currently based at Johor are encouraged to apply.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with postcodes/routing/mapping would be of good use.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations.
• Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment.
• Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pre-plan the sorters/drivers shift arrangement and duty rosters to achieve high efficiencies of the hub
• Delegate tasks for sorters/drivers based on operation requirements to ensure timely deliveries
• Manage inventory and receive inbound parcels from the linehaul team (maintain high level of 5S - Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
• Prepare and perform internal reporting and data analysis to support management’s decision making
• Monitor sorters/driver’s performance to achieve targeted KPI with high level of customer service provided to the customers
• Ensure the high compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection
