Job summary

SPX Express is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Sarawak to lead daily operations for sorters and drivers, coordinate inbound/outbound parcel flows, and uphold safety and service standards. The role emphasizes KPI compliance, dynamic shift coverage, and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will possess a logistics background, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, with a Diploma or Degree in business-related fields.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in Sarawak based on respective state law requirements.
• Candidates based in Sarawak are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work on a rotational shift basis depending on business needs.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with postcodes / routing / mapping would be of good use.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations.
• Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment.
• Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required.
• Working location: Bintulu, Sarawak.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
• Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
• Monitor and report KPI compliance
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection
